General tips for creating a pixel art portafolio

In this entry i will explain how to make a good pixel art portafolio por your art/projects, i am

also going to share some general advices and traits that are attractive to portafolios in general,

so let`s get it on then!

1. Show range and variation

Try to showcase a lot of

-Styles (NES, SNES, Isometric or more)

-Assets (characters, environments, items, UI elements, icons)

-Animations (walk cycles, attacks, idle loops, etc.)

-Resolutions ((8x8, 16x16, 32x32, etc.)

2. Keep it clean and easy to browse

Whether it's a website, a PDF, or an ArtStation page, make it easy to scroll through and

label stuff clearly.

 3.Add some personality

Add a short bio to tell people what kind of work you’re looking for, or include some

projects you’re proud of. It helps people connect with your work and remember you as a

person.

 In conclusion...

Your portfolio doesn't have to be perfectç but it must be full of your best work. Update it

regularly, keep creating, and don’t be afraid to share it even if you feel weak

Everyone starts somewhere, and the only way to get better is to keep showing up.

Got a portfolio you’re proud of? Or one you’re working on? Drop a link or share a tip in

 the comments.
