Some tips to be happy and effective in an English interview

In this entry i will share some advice for those that are willing to take an interview of any

kind. I will then proceed to explain each one of these and a conclussion to summarize at the

end.

1. Practice Your Intro Like a Pro

You will be asked: “Tell me about yourself.” Don’t sweat it!. Practice a short intro about who

you are, what you do, and what you’re looking for. Keep it simple, clear, and natural. You

don’t need fancy words, just confidence.

2. Learn Some Handy Phrases

You don’t need perfect English—just useful phrases like:

  • “Can you repeat the question, please?”

  • “Let me think for a second.”

  • “I don’t have experience with that, but I’m willing to learn.”

These will showcase interest from your part and the interviewer will be delighted.

3.Practice Out Loud

Record yourself, talking to a friend, or even just practice in front of a mirror. The more you

say things out loud, the more natural it will feel when the real interview happens.

Final Thoughts

You don’t need to sound like a native speaker you just need to show who you are, what

you know, and that you’re ready to grow. Practice, breathe, and don’t forget: interviews are

a result and you can go on with your life.
